“We gathered more than one quote for replacement windows from some Atlanta contractors- several of our windows are standard size but one was a very large convex bay window (circa late 60′s). There was little depth to it but it covered the entire expanse of the wall at the end of the kitchen – an important focal point in the most frequently used room in the house. There is also a pretty view as it is on the second story and is eye-level with dogwood and hardwood trees. I did not want to lose the view but I wanted a window seat without increasing the depth or simply ending up with a box sitting under the window – obviously homemade and an afterthought.
