MI Windows and Doors has state- of –the art facilities, one-of-a kind quality management program, and robust in-house test walls to ensure they meet and often exceed industry standards. The engineering team conducts relentless testing which goes beyond what is required for AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) and NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council). A few of the test their windows must pass;
- Air filtration
- Water infiltration
- Structural integrity
- Forced entry resistance
- Deglazing resistance
- Corner weld strength

Precision Built down to the smallest detail…… MI Windows and Doors offers an extensive range of products with on-trend styles and top-rated performance. You have a variety of styles, glass and grid options, and now in varying colors.
Performance Factors
- Energy Star Partner- Meets or exceeds Energy Star Guidelines.
- U-Value measures the amount of heat lost from a home. The lower the U-value, the better the window is at insulating. A low U-value is key to keeping your home warm during those cold winter months.
- Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) measures how much heat from the sun is blocked from entering your home. A low SHGC is desirable to keep heat out of your home during those hot summer months.

Energy-Focused Enhancements
- Warm-Edge spacers are used to optimize the energy efficiency a double or triple pane window provides, helping to lower conductivity, improve argon gas retention, and increase condensation resistance.
- Argon is an invisible gas injected in between the glass to increase insulating performance, reducing heat transfer through the glass, to lessen the possibility of frost or condensation. It also helps to block the harmful UV rays from coming into your home.
- Low-E is a microscopic layer of metal applied to the glass that reflects sunlight away from the home, providing protection from UV rays, helps in maintaining the interior temperature.
